How to buy and sell safely on UnicoDeal. Follow these rules and avoid 99% of scams.

✅ Do This

•Deal locally, face-to-face. This is the #1 rule. Meet in a public place during daylight hours.
•Inspect before paying. Test electronics, start vehicles, check serial numbers. Never pay first.
•Bring a friend. Two sets of eyes are safer than one. Especially for high-value items.
•Use UnicoDeal's messaging. Keep communication on-platform so we can help if something goes wrong.
•Trust your gut. If a deal feels too good to be true, it probably is. Walk away.

•Never wire money. Western Union, MoneyGram, Zelle to strangers — all scams. Cash or verified in-person payment only.
•Never accept cashier's checks. Fake checks are the #1 scam on marketplace sites. They "clear" then bounce weeks later.
•Never ship first. "I'll send you a check, you ship the item" — 100% scam. Every time.
•Never share personal info. SSN, bank account, login credentials — never share these with a buyer or seller.
•Never meet at your home. For initial meetings, always use a public place. Police station parking lots are ideal.
